Economy shows ‘promising signs’ as output hits two-year high
BDO said the Optimism Index rose above 100 for the third consecutive month to levels last seen in mid-2022
The UK economy showed signs of growth in July, amid a boost in manufacturing production and the start of the summer tourism season, which likely contributed to an increase in headcount across the services sector, according to business advisory and accountancy firm BDO.
