Sedulo Group has announced the appointment of Logan Rowan as its national head of Transaction Services in a move that will “fuel huge growth” in the division.
Rowan joins the business from KPMG, where he acted as a partner at the firm’s London office, leading relationships with some of its most significant private equity and corporate clients.
During his 20 years at KPMG, he led work on a number of high-profile transactions in the UK market including Advent International Corporation’s £4bn acquisition of Cobham and its £2.6bn acquisition of Ultra Electronics, plus the acquisition of Elysium Healthcare by BC Partners.
He also brings significant European market experience, advising on a number of large cross-border deals such as Zentiva’s acquisition of Alvogen’s CEE business, several significant complex carve-outs and vendor due diligence projects and IPOs.
Rowan’s appointment comes off the back of a stellar year for the mid-tier-recognised Sedulo Group, who reported record results in 2023 with further double-digit growth predicted for 2024.
Sedulo, which employs over 200 consultants across its offices in Manchester, London, Leeds and Liverpool, has already started making headway towards its goal of doubling in size over the next three years and expects to open a new office in the imminent future.
On the appointment, founder Paul Cheetham-Karcz, said: “This is, without doubt, a marquee recruit. Logan’s reputation for transactions services is as credible as any. The size and stature of the deals he has worked on elevates the whole firm.
“For years we have been looking to find someone with his raft of experience and correct cultural fit to join us and propel that area of the organisation. His appointment will be the springboard to a number of immediate additions to the deal advisory firm.”
Rowan added:“I’m delighted to be joining Paul and the fantastic team at Sedulo: a firm with great momentum, a proven track record and quality client service and all of the ingredients to successfully compete in the mid-market transaction services landscape.
“It’s clear to me that Sedulo is an organisation full of passion for delivering successful outcomes for its clients whilst caring deeply about its employees and the communities within which it operates. It’s a hugely exciting time to join the team and be a part of the ambitious growth plans.”
