PM+M has made a record 22 promotions across the firm, including the promotion of three new directors.

The three new directors include Claire Layton and Chris Read, who specialise in audit, accounting and advisory work, and Dean Rodgers, who focuses on advisory and accounting matters.

Layton joined PM+M in 2008, Rdgers in 2009, and Read in February 2022. They were all managers in their teams before their respective promotions.

Along with the new directors, 19 other promotions have been announced in the cloud, audit, accounting and advisory, financial planning, tax, payroll and marketing teams.

The promotions include two managers, one assistant manager, three senior advisers, four advisers, a client relationship associate and eight junior advisers.

Claire Layton began her career at PM+M in 2008 as a trainee and has gained several promotions since joining the firm.

She said: “I’m pleased to be continuing my career journey and growth with PM+M and I am extremely proud to have achieved directorship. This promotion represents not only a personal milestone but is also testament to the incredible opportunities that PM+M provides for professional growth.”

Helen Clayton, managing partner, added: “Announcing this phenomenal set of promotions is a fantastic way to kick start 2024. The whole ethos of the firm is about developing and, importantly, retaining the very best talent to ensure we develop continual succession across our teams – all for the benefit of our clients and for the community we want to create here at PM+M.

“Every single promotion is richly deserved and it’s especially rewarding to see eight of our 2022 apprentices take the next step in their careers.”
