Investment company AJ Bell has announced that it has appointed PwC as its new auditor.
PwC will become the company’s auditor for the financial year ending 30 September 2025 following the conclusion of a competitive tender process.
This appointment is subject to approval by the company’s shareholders at the Annual General Meeting to be held in 2025.
BDO will complete the company’s audit for the year ending 30 September 2024.
This announcement follows the news that AJ Bell had posted a record financial performance for the year ended 30 September 2023.
Its profit before tax was up 50% to £87.7m, compared with £58.4m and its revenue rose 33% to £218.2m up from £163.8m.
