Accountants Mercer and Hole has announced the promotion of Lynsey Lord to partner.
Lord has been appointed partner in Mercer and Hole’s Private Client team advising individuals and their families on complex domestic and international tax affairs.
Her promotion brings the total number of partners in the Private Client team to eight at the 23 partner firm.
She is one of Mercer and Hole home-grown partners, joining the firm in 2008 as a graduate trainee.
Her career has seen her work both in the UK and the US, building a “strong” transatlantic client following that turns to her for practical and comprehensible advice.
Mercer and Hole has 23 partners and over 270 staff across its offices in London, Milton Keynes, St Albans and Rickmansworth.
Lord said: “I am thrilled by my promotion to partner. The firm has supported my career providing opportunities for growth and specialism, including a secondment to the US. The tax landscape for individuals, particularly those with footprints in the UK and US, is increasingly complex. Our team at Mercer and Hole is well placed to help navigate this landscape.”
Gill Tallon, deputy managing partner at Mercer and Hole, added: “Mercer and Hole has a best-in-class training and development programme that supports and encourages colleagues throughout their careers. We are delighted to announce Lynsey’s promotion to partner and look forward to the continued contributions she makes to the firm.”
