Kreston Reeves has advised US-based Miles Partnership on its acquisition of UK-based Black Diamond, an integrated media and communications agency specialising in travel.

The firm’s advisory team for this acquisition was led by corporate finance partner, Jack Clipsham, and associate director, Craig Dallender. They were also supported by corporate tax senior manager, James O’Leary, and corporate finance executive, Lloyd Halliwell.

The acquisition of the British company comes as part of the US group’s ambitious international expansion plans.

Miles Partnership, which is headquartered in Florida, USA, is a strategic marketing consultancy focused exclusively on the travel and tourism sector.

Clipsham said: “This important acquisition gives Miles Partnership a substantial footprint in the UK. Kreston Reeves is well-placed to lead on multi-jurisdiction and complex corporate finance transactions like this.”

Dianne Gates, chief financial officer of Miles Partnership, added: “Kreston Reeves is a corporate finance powerhouse. Through its global network, the firm has the expertise and ability to coordinate and lead complex acquisitions to ensure their smooth transition.

“We would like to extend our deep thanks to Jack, Craig and the team.”
