The funding arm of national business advisory firm Sedulo Group, Sedulo Funding Solutions, has announced the appointment of new commercial finance director, Brian Love.

Love has previously worked for companies such as Barclays, Christie Finance and Newable. He will be helping Sedulo Funding Solutions build a specialist property team based out of the London office.

The newly-created property team will be working with property professionals to structure and source their secured debt requirements.

The team is currently made up of banking and finance specialists who arrange new finance or refinance existing facilities for more competitive terms.

Love said: “I am delighted to be joining Sedulo on its exciting journey as it expands throughout the UK. Sedulo’s customer centric approach to finance provides us with a strong foundation and I look forward to helping the business achieve its growth ambitions.

“My aim is to create a new, expert property finance team of between 6-8 people in the next 12 months and make Sedulo the go-to specialist in the sector.”

Leyton Jeffs, chief revenue officer of Sedulo Funding Solutions, added: “Brian is a fantastic addition to the business and one that demonstrates not only what Sedulo has become in the commercial finance market, but the ambitions we have to continue progressing.

“The business has grown by over 50% in the last 12 months and Brian’s experience will give our clients more expertise in the property finance segment whilst complimenting the existing management team who have done a fantastic job over the last year.”
