Provider of compliance and administrative services, TMF Group, has announced the appointment of Cliff Pearce as its new global head of capital markets.

He joins from Intertrust Group where he was also global head of capital markets services and brings more than 20 years of experience in this area, which he gained at top-tier banks like Greenwich NatWest, Bear Stearns and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

In his new role, he will be responsible for building the capital markets practise through the multiple opportunities in the business, attracting more multinational mandates and global clients.

In addition, Pearce also sat on the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) securitisation board and is a member of the Forbes Finance Council.

Daniel Max, head of global solutions, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Cliff as the new head of our capital markets practice. His previous experience and guidance will be beneficial to boost TMF Group’s capital markets team towards new ambitious goals and results

“At the same time, we are also grateful to Jonathan Ross, who will now be heading the capital markets global sales team, reporting to Jan Willem van Drimmelen.”

Pearce added: “I am delighted to be part of an organisation as impressive as TMF Group, with such an international footprint and an integrated and holistic approach among the different parts of the business.

“This practice is performing really well already, and I will do my very best to develop it even further.”
