Monahans has announced it will take over the ground floor of Hermes House on Fire Fly Avenue in Churchward, Swindon, amid a period of growth for the firm.

Over the last 50 years, Monahans’ Swindon team has grown to 80 staff across a range of accountancy and business advisory disciplines.

The new space provides 7,296 square feet of open plan office accommodation, equipped with a dedicated reception area, meeting rooms, a staff break-out/collaboration area, fitted kitchens and 30 parking spaces.

Monahans has negotiated the remainder of a 15-year lease, and said the expansion forms its commitment to the local community, and to the firm’s people.

Sitting opposite the national headquarters of the National Trust, the premises is prominently located within the vibrant Old Railway Quarter of the town and adjacent to the Great Western Designer Outlet Village.

Simon Tombs, managing partner of Monahans, said: “Over the last 50 years, we’ve built up a very successful team in Swindon and have developed a strong connection and commitment to the community. We’re very pleased that this will continue having secured such a prestigious location in Hermes House.

“The new office will provide a really first rate working environment and support the hybrid working patterns of our team. It will also help facilitate our plans to grow the business by at least 10% over the next 12 months. We are very much looking forward to another 50 years of success in the town.”
