Brearley and Co have appointed Steven Millerchip, Ben Wingate and Andrew Cowe as shareholders with Lee Rendle, increasing his ownership stake in the Group.

All new shareholders are set to take on more responsibilities as the specialists continue to expand the business further.

Millerchip is ACA-qualified and has worked in both industry and practice before joining the firm. He works with clients on compliance, acquisitions, management accounts as well as supporting with Cloud Accounting Software.

Andrew Cowe is CTA-qualified and is a tax adviser that joined six years ago, enabling Brearley and Co to expand its tax advisory offering.

Additionally, Ben Wingate is also CTA-qualified and joined as an apprentice progressing through Brearley and Co’s training programme to be head of Tax Compliance.

Meanwhile, Lee Rendle has been managing the Dinnington office for the past six years. Brearley and Co Accountants operate from three offices across South Yorkshire and employ over 50 people.

Mark Smallman, managing partner, said: “Each of the new shareholders have an excellent skill set, leadership qualities required to progress further which will add excellent value to an already experienced Team. They provide us with a stronger base for further development.”
