KPMG UK has promoted Steven Murdoch, Daniel Crighton and Wiqas Qaiser to director in the firm’s Scottish offices across several growth areas for the business.
Murdoch has been promoted to director within KPMG’s Deal Advisory Tax team in Glasgow, having joined KPMG as a graduate in 2007. He works with a range of UK and international clients across several industrie, and specialises in providing tax advice on M&A transactions and restructurings.
Additionally, Crighton has been promoted to director within KPMG’s Audit practice, having joined the firm in 2010 as a graduate. Based in Aberdeen, Crighton has a range of experience working with upstream oil and gas clients.
Meanwhile, Qaiser becomes director in the FS Audit team and is based in Edinburgh, and he works in the financial services and asset management space.
Qaiser looks after asset managers and various investment products, such as open and closed ended funds, private equity funds, and pension funds. He started his career at KPMG in Pakistan before moving to the firm’s London office in 2012 and then Edinburgh in 2014.
