Cowgills has announced it has continued to bolster its business recovery team with the launch of a Liverpool office which will be led by partner John Dean.
The firm said Dean’s appointment gives the company a presence in the Liverpool market, with offices based on Chapel Street in the city centre. He will be joined by Peter Ainsworth who joins as assistant manager.
The news comes just months after Cowgills’ acquisition of the business recovery arm of Manchester based accountancy firm RPG and takes the business recovery team to four partners, four directors and 11 staff.
Cowgills partner and head of business recovery Jason Elliott said: “John and Peter bring a huge amount of experience to the team and their professionalism and local knowledge will be key to helping us build our new Liverpool office.

Cowgills Business Recovery said it has seen “unprecedented” levels of support required for businesses during the Covid pandemic and is gearing up to provide advice right across the region for struggling companies.The team will work with Cowgills from both its Bolton and Manchester city centre offices.
