ETL Global has announced it has expanded its UK network with a recent investment in London-based accountancy firm Gerald Edelman.

ETL is a European-cultured, professional services firm with offices in 50 countries and with more than 45 years of history and a “strong SME focus”.

ETL said that Gerald Edelman is an “exciting addition” to the ETL Global partner portfolio and added it has a “philosophy to think beyond compliance and even beyond accountancy”.

Richard Kleiner, CEO of Gerald Edelman, said: “Gerald Edelman have experienced significant growth over the last few years. Having ETL as part of the GE team going forward will enable us to continue with our ambitious growth strategy which will include M&A activity whenever suitable opportunities arise.”

After completion, the company said Gerald Edelman will remain “business as usual” and the existing partners will continue to lead and manage the firm.

Currently, ETL Global is represented by over 13,000 professionals in more than 50 countries with over 320,000 clients.

Sara Brassington, MD of ETL Global UK, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Gerald Edelman to the ETL Global UK network.

“We believe the two organisations are a perfect fit across many areas including culture, world-class customer service and technology expertise, to name a few. We are extremely excited to integrate the team into the ETL Global UK network and start delivering some incredible projects together.”
