Deloitte has been named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality list for the 11th year running.

The index, published in partnership with Business in the Community, recognises organisations that prioritise workplace gender equality.

The accolade follows a series of internal initiatives at the firm designed to advance female leadership and improve career accessibility.

The firm has raised its overall proportion of female partners to 32% this year, up from 31% previously.

Women accounted for 27% of new partner promotions during the latest intake, supported by internal diversity programmes including the future leaders initiative.

Deloitte also marked 16 years of its women on boards programme, which has supported more than 400 aspiring non-executive directors.

Nearly half of the alumni from the scheme have since secured non-executive directorships across various industries.

In addition to senior leadership targets, the business expanded its early careers pipeline through targeted outreach initiatives.

This included a partnership with Bright Network to provide career guidance to 2,000 female undergraduates alongside a school scheme reaching more than 300 girls.

The inclusion also highlights the impact of the firm’s equal parenting policy introduced in September 2024. The framework provides 26 weeks of fully paid leave to all new parents to help share caregiving responsibilities.

Jackie Henry, managing partner for people and purpose at Deloitte UK, said: “Our inclusion in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality highlights Deloitte UK’s dedication to fostering an environment where women succeed.

“We actively champion women’s career progression, from supporting their entry into the profession through school and university programmes and strengthening their leadership via the successful Deloitte Academy Women on Boards programme. Our ongoing priority is to build a diverse firm with an inclusive culture and visible, authentic leaders at every level.”
