Blow Abbott Chartered Accountants has announced that it will merge with A P Robinson and Co to form one larger organisation known as A P Robinson & Co Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors.

All clients for Blow Abbot will continue with their current contacts, while the new organisation will reportedly provide greater scope for career advancement from entry level positions, into management tiers.

The new firm is expected to be at the “forefront” of technological progress and offer clients an “ever broader” portfolio of services to support, guide and grow their business and profit.

Additionally, the new organisation will see all Blow Abbott staff blended into the head office, established at the A P Robinson and Co building; Lincoln Bank Chambers in Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby.

Commenting on the merger, Elliot Beaumont, director, Blow Abbott, said: “My grandfather, Denis Blow established this firm over 50 years ago.This merger will take it into the next chapter.

“As the finance industry implements ever more streamlined systems, technological advancements and opportunities to support client business, our new organisation will be future proofed and ready to seize every opportunity.”
