Streets Chartered Accountants has announced a new strategic partnership between banking and finance consultant, Martyn Shakespear and Streets Financial Consulting plc.
Shakespear, is an experienced banking and finance specialist with a “long-standing track record of providing banking and funding support to businesses, large and small, across a wide range of sectors”.
During his 39-year career, he has held senior positions with a number of leading banks such as NatWest Bank, Bank of Ireland and the Co-operative Bank. For seven years, until late 2020, he undertook these duties as the national head of a banking and finance team with a top 10 accountancy firm.
According to Streets, his knowledge and experience allow him to “understand the funding marketplace, criteria of the various lenders, the needs of the client and fundamentally bridge the gap between both parties”.
As part of the partnership he will help the firm’s financial consulting arm, offering business and financial support to its clients.
