Based in the Grade II-listed The Corner building, the site represents an expansion to the group’s team and operations in the area.
Mazars currently has several vacancies for part-qualified and qualified auditors and accountants as it looks to extend its North East operations.
Cameron Waddell, managing partner at the Newcastle office, said that the firm has “continued to deliver for clients, win new business, and seamlessly adapt to new ways of working,” despite the current “challenging and uncertain period”.
He added: “Our new office will facilitate modern ways of working, reflecting the needs of a dynamic and diverse team and client base.
“Both our team and our clients will find that the office reflects their needs exceptionally well, and I’m very much looking forward to welcoming them through the doors.”
Operating in 91 countries, Mazars is looking to The Corner to provide long-term “continued growth” in Newcastle.
Waddell added: “As the UK and local economies bounce back our new office in the city centre established our commitment to becoming part of the fabric of the vibrant Newcastle business community.”
