TC Group has announced the continuation of its “rapid growth” following a merger with Bristol-based practice, Tax Angel Accounting.

Tax Angel, owned by Lizzy Fone, provides a specialised tax advisory service to businesses of all sizes. It advises clients according to individual aspirations, whether to create new service lines, provide for their families, or grow into an environment that allows clients to continue working in the business for many years to come.

TC Group said that following the deal, Tax Angel Accounting’s clients will be managed by Kevin Edenborough, partner at TC’s offices in Keynsham and Chippenham.

Fone said: “I am delighted that Tax Angel is joining TC Group and that our core values of providing warm and friendly, accessible, jargon-free financial coaching and accounting for our clients shall continue following this merger.

“This is an exciting time for our businesses as we expand the range of services Tax Angel can now comprehensively offer. I will stay involved to ensure a smooth handover for our clients.”

Edenborough added: “Tax Angel Accounting is a well-established practice, who, having joined TC, provides us with another boost to our representation in Bristol and surrounding areas. Lizzy Fone has been committed to building strong working relationships and providing a first-class service to her clients and that service shall continue at TC.

“We are also very grateful to WJP Brokerage Limited who recognised the potential synergy between us and made the initial introduction.”
