UHY Hacker Young has promoted two “rising stars”, James Astley and Jessica Moorghen, within its London firm to partners.

Astley joined the accountancy firm in 2011 and has become one of the financial services group’s most senior members, focusing on audits and advising listed and private companies

He has also acted for companies listing on both AIM and the main market of the London Stock Exchange.

Moorgen joined UHY Hacker Young in 2013, with her focus being on audit and financial reporting, and she shares responsibility for auditing a number of the firm’s largest clients.

Before joining the firm’s London office, Moorgen worked at a mid-sized firm in the City and worked closely with owner-managed businesses through to listed companies in sectors including property, logistics, natural resources and hospitality.
