AAT face-to-face events cancelled until at least 30 September

All Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) face-to-face events, which it had cancelled until 30 June, will now be cancelled until at least 30 September.

In addition, AAT’s UK and Botswana Achievement Ceremonies, due to take place in September, will be cancelled and are expected to take place in autumn 2021.

Those who were eligible to attend these events will be invited to attend the 2021 ceremony, which will honour the achievements of both years. The AAT Professional Member Awards have also been postponed and will be revisited in 2021.

Mark Farrar, AAT CEO, said: “The ongoing impact of coronavirus (Covid-19) has touched every aspect of AAT, including our events programme. We regret to announce these events changes but the health, safety and wellbeing of AAT staff and members will always be my priority.

“We’re continuing to deliver digital alternatives wherever possible, including hosting our member conference online for the first time this year in June. I’m delighted that over 2,400 members registered for the live sessions at AAT Future Finance 2020 Online and we’ll continue to explore new ways to engage and communicate throughout this challenging period.”
