Chartered accountants Anderson Anderson & Brown (AAB) has sponsored North East Scotland College’s (NESCOL) ‘Best Student in Accounting and Finance’ awards.

The firm awarded the 2019 prize to Taylor Brown, Lauren White and Arina Buketova, and said that the three winners “excelled” academically throughout the year, achieving “top marks” in their end of year exams.

First year winners Brown and White are continuing their studies at NESCOL, with views of achieving their HND, while second year winner Buketova, having already achieved her HND, said she is “hoping to start working practice soon”.

Director Stuart Petrie said: “This is the first year have sponsored this award and we are delighted to support these exceptional students and recognise their fantastic achievements.”
