Grant Thornton appoints new head of disputes advisory

Business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP has appointed Michael Radcliffe to lead its disputes advisory practice.

Radcliffe is a forensics partner based in London, and over the last 20 years has advised clients on “complex” cross-border disputes specialising in commercial litigation, civil fraud, arbitration and transaction disputes. He has experience working across a variety of sectors including extractive industries and financial services.

As head of disputes advisory, Radcliffe will be focusing on growing the existing business and expanding into new service areas to meet the firm’s growth targets. Grant Thornton’s forensics practice has seen its fifth consecutive year of growth, following new partner investments in both its disputes advisory and cyber consulting offerings.

Radcliffe said: “I am truly excited to be taking over the reins of a fantastic and well-established team. With ongoing economic and political uncertainty, our clients are frequently encountering challenges which need the local-market insight and multi-disciplinary expertise that Grant Thornton offers.”

Will Davies, head of forensics at Grant Thornton UK, added: “I look forward to working with Michael as he continues to drive this dynamic practice forward with a fresh outlook.”
