Interpath Advisory has announced the appointment of David Mitchell as the new managing director in the firm’s Valuations practice, working alongside fellow managing director Steve Taylor.

Previously, Mitchell was head of the UK Valuations team at BDO, and has more than 20 years’ experience in the valuation industry in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

He has been appointed as a valuation expert in the UK and multiple international jurisdictions, including Dubai, Jersey, Singapore, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands.

Additionally, Mitchell has experience and expertise in tax and restructuring valuations, and he has led numerous valuations across a number of different sectors.

Mark Raddan, head of Advisory at Interpath, said: “David’s expertise and reputation across the market is truly first-rate, so we’re absolutely delighted to have him join our Valuations team.

“His arrival comes at a pivotal moment in time, with the gathering economic headwinds prompting more and more organisations to seek a clear and robust understanding of the value of their businesses and assets.”

Mitchell added: “In today’s fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional, corporate environment, the opportunity to be more nimble and agile in responding to clients’ needs was one of the driving factors in my decision to join Interpath. I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues in what will certainly be interesting months ahead.”
