Previously, Badcoe was an investment director at Investec Wealth and Management, where he was responsible for managing multi-asset portfolios for high net worth clients and trusts, as well as charity and corporate mandates

Evelyn Partners has appointed Jonathan Badcoe as its new investment manager, tasked with primarily working with advisory clients at the firms’ London offices.

Badcoe has previously worked at firms including Investec and JP Morgan. For the past 15 years, he has been managing money on behalf of private clients, corporate mandates and charity accounts in the City of London.

He worked for over a decade as investment director at Investec Wealth and Management, where he was responsible for managing multi-asset portfolios for high net worth clients and trusts, as well as charity and corporate mandates.

Helping clients to identify and achieve their financial plans and goals, Badcoe was also a member of the ESG investment team.

Sam Coppin, managing partner at Evelyn Partners, said: “We are delighted to have Jonathan join our investment advisory team as we look to build on our growing market share in this space.

“Jonathan has significant private client experience across discretionary and advisory mandates and he joins us at an exciting time for the business with the launch of our new combined, client propositions. Having someone of Jonathan’s knowledge and experience join is a big boost for our London team.”

Badcoe added: “I am delighted to join the UK’s leading integrated wealth management and professional services group.

“Recent market events continue to highlight the importance of good advice tailored to individual circumstances. I am looking forward to working, together with my new colleagues, to help clients old and new navigate through these challenging times and achieve their financial goals.”
