RSM has been awarded the Global Payroll Association’s (GPA) outstanding award for its support and advice to businesses throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

The award was presented at a ceremony at Hatfield House, Hatfield on 11 November 2021.

The awards were judged by senior leaders in the payroll field across both industry and public service.

The firm was awarded after “moving quickly to develop several new Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) solutions for businesses while maintaining levels of service, achieving a 96% customer satisfaction score”.

Anne-Marie Welch, head of people advisory services said: ‘The Global Payroll Awards are always something we look forward to, as they are a great way for us to benchmark ourselves against our peers.

“We have worked hard to develop our integrated and collaborative People Advisory Services team across tax, legal, HR and payroll, so it’s great to see the investment we’ve made as a firm in the development and progression of our people recognised in this way. We are really proud of our team, their quality, and what we have achieved.”
