Mazars has announced the appointment of Stephanie Day as tax director in the firm’s Leeds office.

Mazars is an internationally integrated partnership, specialising in audit, accountancy, advisory, tax and legal services, operating in 91 countries and territories around the world.

In the UK, Mazars has approximately 130 partners and over 2,250 employees, and is ranked one of the top 10 firms nationally.

According to the firm, Day joins a “rapidly growing” corporate tax team which specialises in advising privately owned businesses (POBs) across Yorkshire, as well as supporting the region’s strong PE network which is experiencing a “buoyant” deal market.

Day joins from KPMG, and has worked in the city for over 15 years.

Oliver Hoffman, Leeds office managing partner, said: “We are delighted to welcome Stephanie to Mazars. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge as we continue to strengthen our position in the market.

“As well as sharing expertise and advice with our clients, Stephanie will play an important leadership role in mentoring and acting as a role model for our growing team.”
