BHP Corporate Finance reveals two new promotions

One of the new appointments includes Will Holmes who joined the firm in 2015, having worked his way quickly through the various levels

BHP Corporate Finance has announced the promotions of Will Holmes and Juel Chowdhury to director and manager respectively.

Holmes joined the firm in 2015, having worked his way quickly through the various levels.

In his new role, he will lead transactions and provide proactive deal advice to clients. The promotion will now mean that the 20 strong team of advisers at the firm will consist of 12 senior personnel made up of six partners and six directors.

In addition, Chowdhury who was promoted to manager, joined the firm in 2016. He qualified at KPMG in its financial services audit and spent some time in the finance team at Morrisons.

He advises on a range of transactions including sales mandates involving trade buyers and private equity; management buy-outs; and supporting businesses through forecasting, business planning and securing growth capital.

Andy Haigh, corporate finance partner, said: “These are both well-deserved promotions as Will and Juel’s hard work, commitment and expertise really shine through.

“They are both valued members of the team and their promotions are great examples of how employees can grow and develop their careers at BHP. We strive to make BHP a great place to work and want highly talented people to make it their long-term workplace.”
