PwC has announced the appointment of Andy Ward as new market senior partner for the Leeds office.
Ward has been with the firm for almost 25 years and services a broad range of clients including listed companies, private equity, entrepreneurial and privately owned firms across the Yorkshire marketplace.

He specialises in the manufacturing, property and construction sectors and in IPO transactions as well as having spent time overseas on secondment in Houston, and also led the firm’s former Sheffield office.

Commenting on his new appointment, Ward said: “I am delighted to take on the role of Market Senior Partner for Leeds.

“The pandemic has massively disrupted the traditional way of working but it has been great to see how we have all responded to the challenges and shown agility, whilst continuing to deliver great client service adding value to organisations across the region.”

In addition to Ward’s appointment, PwC has also announced it has recently promoted 13 of its team to director, a further 31 to senior manager and 23 to manager across its consulting, risk assurance, business restructuring services (BRS), deals (corporate and transaction services), tax and audit lines of service.

Armoghan Mohammed, PwC’s north chairman, added: “Andy brings a wealth of experience to the role and will play a vital role in continuing to build on the success of our fabulous Northern business and our role in the community more widely as well.

“Announcing Andy’s appointment and the wider promotions we have recently made across
our Northern practice teams continue our commitment both to our clients and the wider region, and help our clients navigate through a post pandemic recovery.”
