BDO has expanded its private equity and tax expertise with the appointment of Jennifer Wall as its new partner.

Wall joins the accountancy and business advisory firm’s partnership team and will work on its clients’ private equity funds, while providing specialist reporting services and tax advice.

Speaking on her appointment, Wall said: “I am looking forward to working with a number of teams across BDO to deepen relationships with new and existing private equity clients in what is an exciting time for the market.

“One of my favourite parts of my role is working collaboratively across the firm, giving me the ability to build strong relationships and provide great service to my clients.”

She added: “Working remotely makes that more challenging, but I know the technology and support provided by BDO will ensure I am able to stay connected to my clients and to colleagues across the firm.”

Paul Eagland, managing partner of BDO, said: “Jennifer is an excellent addition to BDO bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Private equity remains one of the firm’s key areas of focus so we are pleased to be able to expand the team even further.

“Last month, we promoted twenty partners within the firm and Jennifer’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to investing in our people as businesses continue to navigate a challenging period.”
