ASM Chartered Accountants has announced plans to move from its Rosemary Street office to a historic former Linen Factory at Glendinning House on Murray Street.

It comes amid a period of “substantial revenue growth” for the firm, which has seen the addition of 40 new specialist staff over the past two years and “ambitious growth plans” which will lead to the recruitment 30 staff over the next three years.

The former linen factory was completely refurbished in late 2018 and is now a “bright, spacious and modern” working environment. The move also prompted a complete review and subsequent upgrading of ASM’s IT and client interface systems and processes.

Launched in 1995, ASM is one of the largest accounting and management consultancy firms in Ireland with a 200-strong team at offices in Belfast, Dublin, Dundalk, Dungannon, Magherafelt and Newry.

ASM director Brian Clerkin said: “We are delighted to welcome clients old and new to our inspiring new premises in Belfast. We have been growing steadily over the past decade and quite dramatically more recently, with our staff numbers growing materially in the last 24 months alone.

“Our former site on Rosemary Street served us well, but we simply outgrew it.  When the opportunity arose to move to newly refurbished offices at the top of Glendinning House, we knew we had found our new home.”

He added: “We have always aimed to and we are proud to have built a reputation for professionalism, excellence, expertise and dedicated customer relations and as such we are now attracting more business locally and internationally.”
