MHA MacIntyre Hudson has appointed Rob Dando as a partner to lead the transaction services line of the firm’s corporate finance offering.

Dando has over 15 years’ consultancy experience in corporate finance, with “considerable knowledge” in global markets.

MHA said he specialises in advising mid-market businesses, corporate clients and financial institutions in their assessment of acquisitions and divestments, as well as assisting businesses on their journey to initial public offering.

He joins from Australian advisory firm Pitcher Partners, also part of the Baker Tilly International network, where he was the partner in charge of Transaction Services, leading numerous domestic and international assignments. Prior to this, Dando held leadership roles in both the UK and Australia for EY, PwC and Crowe.

MHA MacIntyre Hudson partner and group chairman, Rakesh Shaunak,said: “Rob is going to be a fantastic asset to our Corporate Finance team and for our clients.

“His high calibre of international deal experience will complement our existing expertise, enabling us to strengthen our strategic advice to any organisation going through the acquisition or merger process.”

Dando added: “I am very pleased to have relocated back home to the UK and join MHA MacIntyre Hudson. My priorities are to reconnect with my UK network, leverage my global markets experience and contacts and help the firm build its position as a leading provider of corporate finance advice.
