SmartVault has announced it is collecting responses for a report to help accountants better understand the current state of the profession, amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The brief survey, which takes five to 10 minutes to complete, aims to “better understand” the current challenges, which include how the accountancy sector is approaching those challenges, its outlook on the post-Covid-19 future and to gather useful advice for the accountancy sector.

SmartVault said: “In order to better support the accounting community that we’ve served for over 11 years, we’re asking accountants, bookkeepers and tax professionals to take part in our State of Accountants Survey to help gauge the impact that COVID-19 is having on the profession across the globe.”

For each response completed SmartVault has announced it will donate $5 to support Covid-19 relief efforts via the Small Business Relief Fund and the National Emergencies Trust UK. Plus, all respondents will receive a complimentary copy of the report.
