Tax consulting firm RSM has appointed Paul Smith and Will Simpson to “enhance” its tax advisory practice in Scotland

Smith has joined RSM’s capital allowance team at a director level. Joining from KPMG, he has over 20 years experience in the field. 

Simpson has also joined the firm from KPMG as an associate director at RSM’s corporate tax team.

Their new roles will include supporting a growing portfolio of middle market business in Scotland and across the UK.

Alex Tait, RSM’s regional managing partner in Scotland and Northern Ireland, said: “We are committed to attracting and investing in talent to support growth in key areas across our advisory practice. 

“Both Paul and Will bring key capital allowance and creative relief specialisms that will enhance our offering in Scotland and help clients unlock cash within their business.”
