Leonard Curtis has welcomed Ed Fenwick to its M&A team, who joins the firm’s London office following two years on S&W’s advisory team.
Fenwick will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of M&A mandates, delivering financial analysis and deal support to strengthen client ties and drive future business growth across various industries.
The professional services firm said he brings a robust reputation for accelerated M&A and restructuring advisory, having managed several engagements, handled full transaction lifecycles and served as the primary contact for senior stakeholders, investors and client leadership teams.
It added that Fenwick builds on his experience offering strategic advice and transaction support across real estate, technology, media and communications (TMT), edTech, food and beverage and scientific research sectors.
Earlier in his career, he spent four years at EY working with high profile clients in the TMT, energy and retail industries, heading several audit teams and developing his knowledge of financial and operational analysis.
Fenwick said: “Nobody could fail to be compelled by the group’s ambitious growth trajectory, as it expands its market presence and service lines. I am delighted to join a team that is combining rapid growth with a strong commitment to deliver exceptional value to clients, as well as fostering a dynamic environment for professional development.”
Head of M&A at Leonard Curtis Toby Rolls added: “Ed is a great hire at a key time for the business. His cross industry and sector expertise, Big Four audit rigour and hands-on-deal execution experience made him the perfect candidate for us. He has already hit the ground running.”
