Leonard Curits has announced Logan Mantle as its first head of corporate development to propel mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and strategic growth.
Mantle joins the private equity-backed professional services group following a 15 year career that includes an eight-year stint in Deloitte’s corporate finance advisory team as well as two years with the Right Legal Group as finance director.
The firm said his expertise includes acquisitions, disposals, buyouts, finance raising and strategic reviews, and extends to advising on cross-border deals in North America and Europe.
It added that Mantle has a strong track record in originating and delivering M&A deals for owner-managed, privately held, private equity-backed and corporate businesses, with transactions spanning multiple sectors and typically valued between £10m and £300m.
Leonard Curtis, based in Manchester for more than 30 years, offers restructuring, legal, funding, M&A advisory and business services to SMEs and corporates throughout the UK and offshore.
Last August, Pollen Street Capital acquired a majority stake in Leonard Curtis, emphasising M&A to drive growth plans. The group said future acquisitions will concentrate on strengthening its restructuring and insolvency, legal and funding service provisions.
Chief operating officer at Leonard Curtis, David Brown said: “Logan has all the skills we need to lead a proactive programme of M&A and other strategic partnership activity to scale our business and achieve our goals.
“He is familiar with working at the highest level and in a private-equity backed environment with all the opportunities that provides. He has already hit the ground running on the brief, and we look forward to working with him.”
