Big Four accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has appointed Swapnil Katkar as director at the firm’s pensions advisory team.

Katkar previously headed corporate pension solutions at Citi focusing on UK and western European clients. He will be based in London, and will focus on advising clients around their pensions strategy.

Katkar said: “I am privileged to be part of a high calibre and client-focused team and look forward to helping corporates and trustee boards in delivering the best possible pensions outcomes to members.”

Jeremy May, head of UK pension advisory at PwC, added: “Client need for innovative pension solutions and services is growing and I am delighted to welcome Swapnil to our team.
