Alliance Accountants has joined BK Plus, expanding the group’s presence in the South West and West Midlands and strengthening its coverage in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

Alliance Accountants operates from offices in Cheltenham and Ross-on-Wye, serving small and medium-sized businesses across the region.

The firm will continue to be led by partner Ronan McKeown, with staff joining BK Plus as part of the deal.

According to BK Plus, the move builds on its existing presence in Cheltenham, where it already operates from Manor Park Business Centre, and extends its reach across audit, accounts, tax, restructuring and advisory services.

Clients of Alliance Accountants will continue to work with their existing advisers, with access to a wider network of specialists within BK Plus.

Ronan McKeown, partner at Alliance Accountants, said: “Joining BK Plus opens up exciting opportunities, not just for us, but for our clients. We’ve always been focused on practical, honest advice that supports local businesses, and this move strengthens that mission.

“Our clients will still deal with the same people they know, now backed by a bigger team with specialist capabilities we couldn’t offer before.”

Shaun Knight, chief executive of BK Plus, added: “Alliance is exactly the kind of firm we look to partner with — strong values, deep client relationships, and a real connection to the region. Ronan and the team are trusted advisors, and this addition strengthens our offering across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. We’re proud to be building something different at bk plus — regional teams, locally embedded, nationally supported, and always focused on SMEs.”
