Business advisory firm FRP has announced the appointment of Dan Jonas as a partner in its financial advisory team to drive the expansion of its transaction services offering.
Jonas joins from Azets, where he spent more than a decade developing its financial due diligence and advisory practice, overseeing a period of significant growth in both headcount and revenue.
He has advised on more than 100 transactions across sectors including technology, business services, consumer brands and healthcare, with deal values ranging from £5m to £100m. His clients have included private equity firms, debt funds, listed companies and privately owned businesses.
At FRP, Jonas will be based in London and work alongside partners Justin Matthews and Richard Sanfourche, directors Max Whitehead and James Norman, and recently appointed private equity specialist Jessica Ring. The team will focus on strengthening FRP’s services for mid-market investors and corporates.
The appointment follows a year of strong activity for FRP’s financial advisory arm, which advised on 50 private equity transactions worth a combined £1.3bn in 2024.
Jonas said: “FRP has already built a strong national reputation through its corporate finance and debt advisory teams, and I see a huge opportunity to replicate this success in transaction services. The firm has a fantastic reputation, a strong network of relationships and a clear growth strategy, which makes this the perfect platform to build something truly market leading.”
Matthews added: “Dan’s appointment is a significant milestone for FRP as we continue to grow our financial advisory practice. His knowledge of the private equity market and strong relationships across the sector will be invaluable as we expand our support for clients on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.”
