PKF Francis Clark has promoted Rob Gear to partner in its corporate finance practice, where he leads the due diligence team.
Gear began his career in audit in the South West and has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance. His career includes seven years with a Big Four firm in London and Abu Dhabi, working across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Since joining PKF Francis Clark in 2013, Gear has advised on transactions valued between £5m and £250m. His work has included financial due diligence for corporate and institutional buyers, as well as vendor support.
He said his promotion reflected the firm’s approach to leadership development.
In his new role, Gear will oversee the strategic growth of the firm’s transaction services, focusing on strengthening client relationships and expanding services for private equity, institutional investors and corporate clients.
