James Cowper Kreston has promoted Jack Griggs to corporate finance director and Rebecca Foy to audit and assurance director, with both appointments effective from 1 October 2025.

Griggs, based in the Reading office, joined the firm in 2021 and has worked on a series of transactions.

In 2023 he was named Young Dealmaker of the Year at The Business Magazine’s Thames Valley Deals Awards and has been shortlisted again this year.

In his new role he will continue to advise clients on financial solutions and support the expansion of the corporate finance team.

Meanwhile, Foy, who works in the Southampton office, joined the firm in 2015 as part of its training programme and qualified as a chartered accountant during her time with the practice.

She has experience across corporate, charity and education clients in audit and assurance.

Griggs said: “I am honored to take on this new challenge and grateful for the trust placed in me by the firm. I look forward to leading the corporate finance team and supporting our clients’ ambitions through innovative financial strategies.”

Foy added: “Becoming a director at James Cowper Kreston is a proud milestone in my career. Having progressed within the firm over the last 10 years, I am excited to continue working alongside our talented team, to deliver outstanding results for our clients and help shape the future of our firm.”

Alex Peal, managing partner, concluded: “On behalf of the Partners at James Cowper Kreston, we are thrilled to announce the promotion of Jack and Rebecca – both of whom exemplify the values and professional development opportunities here at James Cowper Kreston. Their appointments strengthen our leadership team and position us well for continued success.
