Professional services group S&W has appointed Jonathan Broadis as a partner in its transactions practice, with responsibility for developing its value creation advisory services.

Broadis has more than 25 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions consulting. He was most recently UK M&A consulting lead at Tata Consultancy Services, and has also been a partner at Deloitte Financial Advisory in Canada and Chile.

His work has focused on financial, operational and technology due diligence, synergy development, and pre- and post-deal integration.

He also has sector expertise in technology, telecommunications, retail and consumer, including three years with Asda on its Walmart separation programme until mid-2024.

At S&W, Broadis will be based between London and Manchester, working alongside the transaction services team to expand its advisory offering.

Mark Benka, head of transaction services at S&W, said: “I am thrilled that Jonathan has joined the transaction services team at S&W to further broaden our capabilities and expertise in value creation to support our clients in making their deals successful.

“His vast experience and proven track record across a variety of situations will be invaluable to clients, such as identifying synergies and cost or efficiency improvements and critically, through to implementation. I am looking forward to working alongside him and his team.”

Broadis added: “It’s a great privilege to join one of the fastest-growing M&A advisory teams in the UK at S&W to build out our value creation capability. I look forward to working with my new colleagues to deliver successful growth aligned with the firm’s broader strategy.”
