Salisbury’s Chartered Accountants has opened a new office in Llangefni and appointed six staff as part of ongoing regional expansion.

The move adds to the firm’s existing bases in St Asaph, Ruthin, Beaumaris, Tywyn and Menai Bridge, and takes its workforce to 47.

Among the new recruits are trainee accountants Elliott Coles and Maggie Hopwood in Llangefni, Charlie Austin and Celyn Hughes in St Asaph, management accountant Edward Lavery, and payroll trainee Tom Pape.

The company has also promoted Hannah Addison, Eiry Owen and Toni Warren to its senior leadership team, while director Caryl Rees has joined the board alongside Aled Roberts, Jeremy Salisbury and Jason Matischok, with responsibility for the firm’s Anglesey operations.

Roberts said: “Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen almost a 50% increase in our workforce, which is a fantastic achievement. There’s more to come, with plans to take on new staff in 2026, but for now it’s about giving our team time to settle and thrive.”

Salisbury added: “Bringing through the next generation of accountants is pivotal to our future. With legislation and technology changing so quickly, we’re proud to be at the cutting edge while continuing to deliver a service rooted in personal relationships and trust.”
