Independent accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Carmichael has promoted five new directors.

Suzanne Adshead, Lesley Clark, Jamie Davidson and Grant Roger, who are based in the Edinburgh office, and Stuart Walker, a member of the Johnston Carmichael wealth team and located in Aberdeen, have each been elevated to director level.

Their promotions form part of the firm’s commitment to “strengthening” its leadership team and follow its recent promotion of five new partners.

CEO Sandy Manson said: “We are proud to be promoting five new directors, and I would like to offer my warmest congratulations to Suzanne, Lesley, Jamie, Grant and Stuart. People development is extremely important to Johnston Carmichael and our succession plans. Our new directors are central to our growth strategy and will help the firm to be fit for the future as we seek to expand our services to meet our clients’ diverse needs.”
