DPC Accountants has revealed that it has partnered with Championship club Stoke City FC, becoming a silver partner in its business club.
DPC has been based in Stoke-on-Trent for over 80 years and offers a wide range of services to individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses of all sizes.
As part of the business club, DPC will gain access to a number of commercial assets across the club’s home stadium and digital channels. It will also again “bespoke IP rights” to showcase its association with the club.
Michelle Coates, director at DPC Accountants, said: “We’re proud to have been a Stoke-based accountancy business for over 80 years and we thought what better way to celebrate than partner with the club that’s been around for even longer. We look forward to forging a rich and rewarding relationship with the club and becoming part of the local community with other businesses and fans alike.”
Steve Forrest, head of partnerships at Stoke City, added: “We are pleased to welcome such a well-established local company to the business club. We look forward to fostering a strong relationship with the team at DPC during the 2025/26 season.”
It comes a year after DPC was acquired by the Sumer Group. Sumer chose DPC as a result of its strategic location between the existing Hubs, Cowgills and Jerroms firms that Sumer had acquired beforehand.
DPC also boasts a 50% female partner ratio across the company and is highly respected in the region for its dedication to diversity, its people, and cultivating strong client relationships.
