RSM UK has announced the appointment of 11 new partners in its bid to drive organic growth and complement its wider corporate strategy.

The firm’s tax practice has promoted two partners including corporate tax expert Chris Alderman and VAT compliance specialist Joost Willemsen. In the national audit team, Dominic Finn and Nick Cattini have also both reached partner level.

The national consulting service line has promoted five partners including accounting, insight and advisory expert Philippa Carter; restructuring advisory specialist Glen Carter; fraud risk expert Andrea Deegan; and Mark Leyland and Graham Weston in the deal services team.

In addition, Thomas Pugh, the firm’s UK economist has also been made partner, along with Sally Baker, head of dispute resolution.

Rob Donaldson, CEO at RSM UK, said: “The latest cohort of new partners now embark on the next chapter of their careers at RSM, which is great to see. The latest promotions demonstrate our continuing commitment to growing and developing exceptional talent from within our own ranks. They will also form an important part of our long-term business growth strategy.

“Each new partner brings a unique skillset to RSM, complementing both their team and the firm as a whole. Their breadth of experience, expertise and knowledge is integral to shaping the future of RSM UK, supporting our clients to maximise opportunities and succeed in an ever-changing, and sometimes challenging, business environment. I look forward to working with them to help develop what is shaping up to be a really exciting year, and long-term future for our firm.”

Dan Thompson, people partner at RSM UK, added: “Growing our own talent is pivotal to our strategy, and today represents a real opportunity to recognise our new partners’ hard work, dedication, and commitment. We value the impact and contribution our people make and congratulate them on achieving this key milestone in their careers.”
