Forvis Mazars has announced its new executive team, which will work alongside James Gilbey in his role as UK CEO.
The executive members – Andrew Hoyle, Gareth Jones, Asam Malik, Liz Ritchie, Greg Simpson, Mark Kennedy, Margaret Laidlaw, Elisabeth Maxwell and Toby Stanbrook – will assume their roles with immediate effect.
According to the firm, this team will be responsible for defining and delivering Forvis Mazars’ strategy in the UK in alignment with its international strategy.
Toby Stanbrook, who has been appointed chief operating officer and deputy CEO, will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives for the firm and providing close support to the CEO.
As head of advisory and consulting services, Hoyle will develop the firm’s advisory capabilities, while Jones joins as head of growth for private clients and the mid-market and will be responsible for the firm’s regional presence across its 14 UK offices.
Kennedy is head of quality and risk, with Laidlaw taking the head of people role to focus on initiatives that enhance culture and accelerate progress on inclusion and diversity.
Malik, the head of growth for large international businesses, will be responsible for continuing to develop the firm’s sector approach, while Maxwell will be responsible for client experience and partner matters, aiding teams to “deliver unparalleled experience for clients”.
Meanwhile, Ritchie joins as head of tax to focus on expanding the firm’s tax practice across the UK, and Greg Simpson as head of audit, where he will be responsible for leading one of only six Tier 1 audit firms.
