DTE has announced that Lewis Pearson has been promoted to director for the corporate finance division.
Pearson started at DTE as a school leaver and trained in the audits and finance team before making the move to the DTE Corporate Finance team in 2018.
Since then, he has worked on transactions that span the UK, specialising in merger and acquisition advisory and transaction services.
Recent highlights include his work on the sale of RJ Urmson Group to HSL Compliance, where his guidance was key in matching the client with the right buyer.
Pearson said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to step into this role. Working with such a talented team and getting to know our clients over the years has been fantastic. I’m looking forward to helping us grow even further and building those strong, lasting relationships that make this work so rewarding.”
Matt Beckley, head of DTE Corporate Finance and partner, added: “Lewis’s journey here has been incredible to watch. This promotion is a huge milestone for him and us, and it’s very well-deserved. He’s built great relationships with clients, banks, and private equity firms over the years and has been a key player in our Corporate Finance team. We’re all excited to see what he’ll bring to the role and to our clients in this next chapter.”
