Accountancy firm Milsted Langdon has announced the appointment of Martin Johnson to partner.

Johnson joined the firm in 2007 as an apprentice and over the years, he obtained his ACCA membership and recently became a member of the ICAEW, continuing to develop his skills and build relationships with clients across the South West and beyond.

Throughout his career, he has risen through the ranks by providing guidance and support across various sectors, with a particular focus on the agricultural and rural affairs sector.

His first-hand experience in this area allows him to offer tailored advice to owner-managed businesses and partnerships, helping them navigate the challenges of the agricultural landscape.

Reflecting on his promotion, Johnson said: “I am delighted to be promoted to partner at Milsted Langdon. Having joined as an apprentice, my career has thrived here, and I’ve had the opportunity to develop excellent long-standing relationships with my clients. I look forward to continuing to work closely with them to support their growth and success.”

Rachel Hotham, people partner, added: “Martin’s promotion is well deserved, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the partnership. The fact that he joined us straight from college and has achieved his goal of becoming a partner is a fantastic success story and a testament to our focus on learning and development.

“Moreover, his specialist knowledge in the agricultural and rural affairs sector, combined with his hands-on approach, has been invaluable to our clients and our firm. We are confident that Martin will continue to play a key role in driving Milsted Langdon forward.”
