BDO unveils over 2,400 promotions

Just under half of the total promotions and more than a third of partner promotions are in the regions outside of London

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has promoted 2,440 people across its central operations, audit, tax, deals, and consulting, risk and outsourcing teams.

Effective as of today (1 November), BDO has promoted over 1,300 people in its audit practice, over 340 in tax, 165 in its deals division, 420 in consulting, risk and outsourcing and a further 135 people across its central support functions.

As part of its investment in people, BDO has also promoted 36 partners. These are in addition to 28 new external partner appointments since January, bringing the total number of partners to over 460.

Some 10 people have been promoted to partner in BDO’s audit practice, including the audit quality directive and technology risk audit teams, they are Steve Bladen, Oliver Brown, Laurence Elliott, Cindy Hrkalovic, Lindsay Hurley, Nikhil Lalsodagar, Olivia Manase, Vicky Smith, Nyasha Tsuro, and Aaron Winter.

Parul Anand, Alistair Culverwell, Christopher Mann, Nuala McLaughlin, Nick Millward, Stuart Strong, and Chris Williams have all been promoted across BDO’s tax team.

Meanwhile, BDO’s deals team has promoted seven new partners, Kirsty McMahon, Ben Peterson, Elizabeth Acland, Waheed Mahroof, James Buckingham, Sarah Ziegler and Mark Jones.

Additionally, Tannyth Bush, Chris Carle, Sam Cornish, Paul Hammond, Sandeep Mohan, Sohasini Sudtharalingam, Andrew Souyave, Alisa Voznaya, and Francis Yates have been promoted to partner across BDO’s consulting, risk and outsourcing teams.

Meanwhile, Lisanne Barrell and Leslie Peter have also both been promoted to partner in the firm’s central operational teams and Helen Patel has been promoted to partner in the quality and risk management team.
