Forvis Mazars has announced the appointment of Sarah Mills as an accounting and outsourcing partner in its Sutton office.

Mills will work within the industry and services sector and will be responsible for leading and expanding the firm’s accounting and outsourcing teams, as well as growing Forvis Mazars in the UK’s global compliance and reporting client base.

She will also have a significant focus on quality and efficiency, working across the business to identify ways to integrate the firm’s services to improve and streamline the experience of clients.

Mills began her career with PwC and has over two decades of experience in the industry. She brings extensive experience of the retail sector, having previously worked as director of finance and administration at Kering and financial controller at Gucci Group.

She joins the firm at a period of “significant” opportunity following the recent launch of Forvis Mazars, the newest top 10 global professional services network. Formed by Mazars, the international audit, tax, and advisory firm, and Forvis, a top ranked firm in the United States, it operates from Sutton with the existing team and services.

She also joins a growing team in Sutton, which welcomed 15 early careers hires in September. The intake consists of graduates, school leavers, returning placements and industrial placements.

Mike Bailey, international accounting services partner at Forvis Mazars, said: “We are delighted to welcome Sarah into our growing International Accounting team. We have no doubt her skills, knowledge and dedication – evidenced by twenty years in the industry – will prove invaluable and enhance the services we provide to existing and new clients. We look forward to seeing the positive impact she’ll have on our team as well as Forvis Mazars in the UK and internationally.”
